This was an exciting week in our household. I made my first call to poison control during an extended family dinner because my son tried to ingest part of a toy. Fun times, let me assure you. Do you have any crazy, poison control calling stories?

There is so much negativity with motherhood, especially if you make the mistake (like I did) of hanging out with mothers who like to complain and take their blessings for granted when your child is young. To combat this negativity, I recorded a video on 5 Things I Admire About My Toddler!
Y’all, there was a tornado in December when I was pregnant, my husband was out of town on a business trip/training and I was ALL ALONE in the middle of Wal-Mart with loud thunderclaps amplified from the metal roof and scaring the crap out of my gestating son. It took a twenty-minute frantic drive home to access YouTube and Carol of the Bells to calm him down. I was sore for a week.
